Apple’s new iPad 10.2 is already on sale at Amazon

Whether you’ve thought about finally getting a tablet; are a longtime PC or Android user curious about an OS change; or have determined it’s time to replace your Apple device that has seen better days, there are a lot of things we don’t want to miss. Right now, Amazon is discounting the 2021 Apple 10.2-inch iPad to $299 compared to its $329 price tag! This applies to the 64 GB model. If you upgrade to the 256GB model, you can save $50 on the space gray colorway and get it for $429 (was $499).

That’s not a huge discount, but it’s something. And the value is even greater considering that this model comes with 64GB of storage, while its predecessor only offered 32GB for the same price.

Meanwhile, the new iPad is also faster (thanks to an improved processor) and equipped with a greatly improved front camera for better participation in video calls. This camera, in conjunction with Apple’s Center Stage feature, automatically keeps focus on the subject (you) as you move – and it even widens if someone else enters the frame.

Otherwise not much has changed. The iPad still relies on Apple’s Lightning connector (instead of USB-C, which high-end models and the new iPad Mini have embraced). It still uses a home button with Touch ID, and still has a fairly chunky bezel along the top and bottom edges.

The new entry-level iPad 10.2 looks the same from the outside, but packs a faster processor and a better front-facing camera. And right now it’s $30 cheaper. (photo: apple)

“I’m really enjoying my iPad. Haven’t had it long but no issues so far. I’ve upgraded from an iPad mini and am very happy with the size of this one. Arrived quickly and packaged superbly,” wrote one delighted buyer.

Another exclaimed: “Latest generation of iPad at a lower price point than most refurbished options. This replaces my old iPad Gen 2 and it’s amazing how long the battery lasts. Also runs the latest apps!”

“There are so many different ways to use this device. I got mine to start a digital planner and it works beautifully,” gushed another satisfied customer. “One charge lasts me days. I didn’t have to buy one of those $100 iPad pens either. I got one for $26 and it writes perfectly. The picture quality is great when you want to watch movies or read an article/blog.”

We’re not sure how long this deal will last, so grab it while you can.
