Covid rules are being jettisoned around the world, with nearly every European country – including the UK – and at least 31 countries outside Europe now completely free of travel restrictions.
However, testing is still being carried out for some long-haul travel, unvaccinated or unboosted people are still completely banned in some countries, mask rules remain in place and Covid passports are sometimes used.
Our regularly updated country-specific guide explains the key restrictions across all major holiday destinations, so you know what to expect. However, they change quickly, so it would be wise to cross-reference the Foreign Office website as well.
